چکیده

It is possible to make measurements, to evaluate and form digital maps of the images by using digital image processing and analysis techniques with computers. Digital cameras are being used in computer vision applications commonly. Digital cameras have been absolutely calibrated to use precision need works. Photogrammetry is based on direct measurement of the objects which is captured with the digital cameras and images. Camera parameters are determined with camera calibration procedures as mathematically. Images coordinates (u, v) and object space coordinates (X, Y, Z) have been modeled with analytical relationships and transformations have been completed. In this study Nikon D100 digital SLR (Single Lens Reflex) camera have been used to take images of the test object from different points. A software, which have capability of the calculate camera calibration parameters; have been developed in Delphi program language. Direct Linear Transformation (DLT) methods have been used to calculate calibration parameters. After finishing the test successfully results have been obtained.

Geometric Modelling and Calibration of a High Resolution Panoramic Camera

In photogrammetric applications the use of a digital panoramic camera with 360° field of view may provide an interesting alternative to conventional methods. As the image geometry does not obey a central perspective it was necessary to establish a geometric model for digital panoramic cameras. This model was tested using a camera prototype produced by KST (Kamera & System Technik). Several mech...

Real-Time Computer Vision System for Mobile Robot

The purpose of this paper is to present a real-time vision system for position determination and vision guidance to navigate an autonomous mobile robot in a known environment. We use a digital camera, which provide ten times the video capture bandwidth then a USB, using FireWire interface. In order to achieve real-time image processing we use MMX technology to accelerate vision tasks. Camera ca...

Numerical Simulation on Evaluating Calibration Results of Non-metric Digital Camera

A non-metric digital camera is required to be geometrically calibrated when it is used for photogrammetric applications. Many camera calibration methods for a non-metric digital camera have been proposed. However there is no standard procedure to evaluate an estimated image distortion model directly. Calibration results are usually evaluated indirectly by such indexes as residuals on image, thr...

Experiment on Precision of Camera Calibration of Non-metric Digital Cameras

Although many camera calibration methods for a non-metric digital camera have been proposed, there are few reports on the precision of calibration results. Therefore, we conducted a field experiment in order to examine the precision of calibration results of a non-metric digital camera. We adopted a calibration method using a set of calibration points distributed on the 2-D plane with no ground...
